My dear fellow graduates, this day is one of the most important events of our lives. I can see the happiness and excitement in each one of us for we surpassed all the challenges that we have faced in the last four or five years of my intellectual journey in our Beloved School.
The university is home of the "Wise Men", it steeled our mind and spirit to prepare us for the challenges of society. We in the university to discover not only the knowledge but also to enhance our general nature, we attended the university to acquire only high grade or obtain certificates of completion, because it is a measure of our character [Grades are just numbers but they do not equate with excellence, they are mere parameters of what we can do in the future. All of our achievements and awards will not define us as persons, our character, personality, behavior and our values systems are more important than those merits].
A PUPian is like gold, underwent intense heat of the socio-personal problems and beat the test within academia, but then it is our brilliance and advantages will inspire other people inside and outside the university .
We all know that most of the students who entered the PUP is sized hard or much wealth, most of the family which not afford to send their children to expensive and well-known universities in the country, but I believe that the PUP is the University Brain Investment and we rejoice because we belong here.

Despite the lack and difficulties we encountered within and outside the university, we appreciate it, because it's how drunk we be human and humane, here we become more durable, stable and strong.

Some of us will become good sociologists, lawyers, psychologists, linguists, philosophers, teachers, artists, librarians, broadcasters, journalists, researchers, engineers, managers and professionals in our own fields, but what can we do for our country? What can we do for our loves school? And what can we do for the Filipino people?
